Connect a QuickPay company to import its employees into WorkEasy and map pay codes for payroll. Repeat these steps for each company you want to connect.

Before you start: Complete the checklist in Before You Connect QuickPay.

Step 1 Start the setup

  1. Go to Global Settings → Integrations → QuickPay.

  2. Click Start.

Step 2 Enter the credentials

  1. In Name, enter a name for the connection.

  2. In Client ID, enter the company's QuickPay Client ID. WorkEasy loads the company's pay codes from QuickPay to confirm the Client ID is valid.

  3. Click Next.

Note: You can't change the name or Client ID after you connect.

Step 3 Map groups

  • Location: Selected automatically. QuickPay locations always go to the location group.

  • Department (required): Select the group that receives QuickPay departments.

  • Position (optional): Select the group that receives QuickPay job titles.

  • Match Departments by Name (on by default): Reuses an existing WorkEasy department with the same name instead of creating a new one.

  • Prefix Company Code to Departments (off by default): Adds the company code to department names. Available only when Match Departments by Name is off.

Step 4 Set up employee sync

  • Sync Only Active Employees (on by default): Adds only employees who are active in QuickPay.

  • Use Salary (on by default): Syncs salaried employees too. When it's off, only hourly employees sync.

  • Prefix CompanyCode to EmpNumber (off by default): Adds the company code to the WorkEasy employee number. The prefixed number is also the employee ID sent to QuickPay, so turn it on only if it matches the employee IDs in QuickPay.

  • Custom Fields Matching (optional): Enter a custom field name to store the QuickPay User ID, the Legacy Employee ID or both on each employee. WorkEasy creates the field if it doesn't exist.

  2. Leave any code you don't want to send as Don't link this Pay Code or Don't link this Time Code. Unlinked codes aren't sent to QuickPay.

  3. Click Finish.

WorkEasy imports the employees, and the company appears in Connected Accounts.

Settings that are set by the integration

Some behavior is set by the integration and isn't part of the setup. For example, WorkEasy always sends one line per employee, pay code and day.
