The QuickPay integration connects WorkEasy with QuickPay to exchange employee and pay data. Employee records come from QuickPay, WorkEasy tracks and calculates worked time, and pay data goes back to QuickPay for payroll.
How data moves between WorkEasy and QuickPay
QuickPay to WorkEasy. When you connect a company, WorkEasy imports its QuickPay employees with their locations, departments and job titles. After that, changes made in QuickPay are sent to WorkEasy automatically, and a daily sync picks up any update that couldn't be delivered at the time. The daily sync runs every night and updates all the data WorkEasy gets from QuickPay.
Time tracking in WorkEasy. Managers verify timesheets and resolve missing punches. WorkEasy calculates worked hours, breaks and overtime, and classifies time into time codes and payables using your rules.
WorkEasy to QuickPay. From Timesheets, a Time and Attendance administrator sends hours and payables to a QuickPay template and batch. QuickPay validates the data. Valid data is added to the batch. If the upload is rejected, WorkEasy shows the reason.
What syncs from QuickPay
QuickPay is the system of record for employee data. WorkEasy receives:
Names and contact details
Status and hire dates
Pay rates
Locations, departments and job titles
What WorkEasy sends to QuickPay
WorkEasy sends one line per employee, pay code and day for the pay period. Only time codes and payables linked to a QuickPay pay code are sent.
Connect more than one company
You can connect several QuickPay companies to the same WorkEasy account. Each company uses its own Client ID and keeps its own mapping and employees.
QuickPay Summary export
WorkEasy also includes the QuickPay Summary export (Platform → Exports → QuickPay Summary). It isn't part of the integration. It's another way to get pay data from WorkEasy for QuickPay. For details, see Export Pay Data with the QuickPay Summary Export.
