Once your WorkEasy account is connected to Workday, you can set preferences for how employee demographics and punch data are synced between platforms.
In the Employee Sync tab, choose whether all employees or only active employees should be synced from Workday.
Choose whether to update the employee demographics in WorkEasy for users already in the system. Yes overwrites employee data in WorkEasy Software with Workday data.
In the Data Mapping tab, map pay frequencies in WorkEasy Software to those used in Workday. At least one mapping is required to proceed.
In the Time Data Mapping tab, you may select how time log punches are sent to Workday:
Time log punches only (Auto): sent automatically in real time via webhook
Time Log Punches only (Pay Period End): sent manually at the end of each period. For this option, the checkbox Prevent hours from being sent… is enabled.
If you select either option, you will need to map each punch type from WorkEasy (e.g., In, Out, Break In, Break Out) to the corresponding Workday values.
Click Save to complete your setup. Your integration is now active and syncing data based on your selected preferences.
Once your configuration is complete, go to My Timesheets and select the desired time period.
Click the dropdown next to the green status bar and select Send to Workday.
Select the integration instance you want to use, then click Continue.
Select the employees mapped to the Workday integration for whom time punches should be sent or simply Select All.
Click Send, then Yes, send.
To sync employees, go to Global Settings > Integrations > Workday > Connected Accounts and click Synchronize to trigger the sync process manually if needed.
After clicking Synchronize, a series of confirmation modals appear. Click Yes then OK to dismiss.
After sync completes, go to the notifications and click Details.
You can view details for updated and matched employees, as well as errors.
You will then be able to see in the Employee List all the employees you’ve selected.
