Employees can manage how many hours they prefer to work each week and when to receive schedule reminders. Shift preferences help managers plan schedules that align with each employee’s availability.
Go to My Portal > Shift Preferences. Your current preferences appear in the Details panel.
Select Edit to update your weekly hours and notification settings.
Maximum hours weekly: Enter the most hours you’re willing to work each week.
Hours preferred weekly: Enter your ideal number of hours per week.
Schedule reminder: Check this box to receive reminders before your scheduled shifts.
Time before shift (hours): Choose how many hours before a shift you’d like to be notified.
After updating your preferences, click Save.
For instance, you might set:
Maximum hours weekly: 44
Hours preferred weekly: 40
Schedule reminder: Enabled
Time before shift (hours): 8
These settings help your manager assign shifts that match your workload preferences and ensure you receive reminders in advance.
