Prerequisites

  • Before you begin, ensure you have your Paylocity login details ready.

  • If you haven't obtained your login details yet, please request them by completing the access request form (fillable right on the screen) and saving it.
    Note: Carefully adhere to the guidelines for filling out the form.

  • Send the completed form to [email protected].

  • You will get your login details via email within a 24-hour period.

Instructions for filling out the form

Connecting, Mapping, and Syncing

  1. Click Global Settings > Integrations > Paylocity.

  2. Enter the credentials sent to your email by Paylocity, and click Connect.


  3. Perform the applicable Data Mapping by matching the pay frequency for Paylocity and WorkEasy.

  4. Click Next or go to the Employees Synchronization from Paylocity tab.


  5. On the Employees Synchronization from Paylocity tab, select the applicable employees that should be added to WorkEasy.

  6. Select the applicable employee sync fields. If desired, toggle Show only required fields. Most have been preselected by default.

  7. Click Next or go to the Hours Mapping tab.


  8. On the Hours Mapping tab, select Yes or No to submit hours to Paylocity or not. If selecting Yes, you will need to also select applicable time codes.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Click Synchronize.


  11. After the syncing completes, go to the notifications and click Details.

  12. You will see updated and matched employees as well as errors.

How long does it take to receive Paylocity credentials?

Typically, within 24 hours of submitting the request form.

What should I do if my credentials aren’t working?

Double-check for typos or formatting issues. If they still don’t work, contact Paylocity or WorkEasy Software support for help.

Can I control which employee data is synced?

Yes! You can choose which fields to sync during the Data Mapping step.

Can I update integration settings later?

Absolutely. You can return to Global Settings > Integrations > Paylocity anytime to update your connection or sync preferences.
