The WorkEasy Kiosk allows employees to switch jobs during a shift when job costing is enabled. Job selection may occur at clock in or during a shift using the Transfer option. Available behavior depends on Reporting Hours, job costing settings, and clocking configuration.
Before you begin
You are currently clocked in.
Job costing is enabled for your role.
The kiosk displays job-related options.
If job selection or Transfer is not available and you believe it should be, contact your manager.
Job selection at clock in
In some configurations, job selection appears immediately after Clock In.
Job selection appears at clock in when:
Job costing is enabled.
Show Job List on Devices is enabled.

Skip Selection
Skip Selection appears only when job selection is optional.
When job selection is required, Skip Selection is hidden.

Switch jobs during a shift
When allowed, a Transfer option appears on the kiosk action screen.
Transfer appears when:
Job costing is enabled.
Job selection is shown on devices.
Job selection is not required at clock in.

Select Transfer to open job selection.
Select a job
Job selection may include a single job or multiple levels based on configuration.
Single job selection.
Multi-level selection such as Client, Project, Job, or Task.
All required selections occur on the same screen.

Confirm the job
The transfer is recorded.
Time continues under the newly selected job.
Comments during job transfers
Comments may appear during a transfer if enabled.
Comments may be optional or required.
When comments are required, a comment must be entered before continuing.

Confirmation
The kiosk confirms the transfer.
Time continues under the new job.
The action screen is displayed.
Smart Clocking behavior
Some employees select jobs at clock in.
Some employees switch jobs only using Transfer.
Some employees do not see job options.
Available options depend on company configuration.

Job selection is not visible
Job costing may not be enabled for your role. Contact your manager.
Transfer is not available
Transfer appears only when job selection is enabled during a shift.
