You must create a kiosk in WorkEasy before activating the WorkEasy Kiosk App on a tablet. Creating a kiosk generates an activation code and assigns the kiosk to a single location. A kiosk is not available for employee use until it is activated on a device.
Before creating a kiosk, review Device Requirements for the WorkEasy Kiosk App, Tablet Setup Best Practices for the Kiosk App, and How to Install the WorkEasy Kiosk App.
After creating a kiosk, continue with Activate a Kiosk on a Tablet.
Create a kiosk
Log in to WorkEasy.
Navigate to Time and Attendance > Kiosks.
The Kiosks list displays existing kiosks, their names, statuses, and kiosk IDs.
Select the three dots > Add.
The Add panel opens on the right side of the screen.
Enter a kiosk name. For example, use a descriptive name that reflects the device location, such as Front Desk iPad or Warehouse Breakroom.
Review the automatically generated activation code. The activation code is required to activate the kiosk on a tablet.
If an activation URL appears, it applies only to web-based kiosk access.
Select a location for the kiosk.
Each kiosk can be assigned to only one location. The location determines the kiosk time zone and employee access.
Select Save.
The kiosk will have a status of Pending activation and an orange circle to where kiosks are listed until it is activated on a tablet.

Do I need multiple kiosks for multiple tablets?
Yes. Each physical tablet requires its own kiosk record.
Can I rename a kiosk?
Yes. You can edit the kiosk name from the Kiosks page.
Can I change the kiosk location?
Yes. You can update the kiosk location if the device is moved.
