Kiosk settings define how employees clock in and out on kiosk devices, including authentication, validation, job assignment, and recurrence behavior.
Create a kiosk settings rule
Go to Global Settings > Devices > Kiosk Settings.
Click Create Rule. If no rule exists, the page displays Nothing has been added yet.

If a rule exists, the page displays existing rules.
Create or update a kiosk settings rule
Choose one of the following audiences:
Everyone.
Specific group.
Specific kiosk.
If Specific kiosk is selected, select the applicable kiosk device(s) the rule should apply to.

Under Employee verification, choose one of the following methods:
Employee ID / PIN.
Employee ID.
PIN.
Enable or disable Show employee list.

Under Validation, enter the Consecutive Punch Window (sec).
Under Job Costing, select a Default Job if applicable.
Enable or disable Has recurrence.
If recurrence is enabled, select a Recurrence type.
Choose one of the following:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Days ON and days OFF
Custom cycle
Advanced
Enable or disable Do not override.
Click Save.

View and manage kiosk settings rules
Select a rule to view details or use filters:
All.
Everyone.
Groups.
Kiosk.
Enable or disable Include ended rules.
Set Effective as of to view rules by date.
Click the edit icon (pencil) to modify a rule or the end icon (circle with a slash) to deactivate it.
To see where a device has been assigned to, click View Assignments and select a device.

Create separate rules when kiosk behavior differs by location or device.
Use specific kiosk targeting for device-level control.
Set a reasonable consecutive punch window.
Use recurrence for scheduled configurations.
