Employees can clock in and out using one of several authentication methods, depending on how the time clock is configured. Each method is designed to securely record punches while ensuring a quick and user-friendly experience. The supported clocking methods are described below.
PIN method
Tap the keypad icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home screen.
Enter your assigned Employee ID and tap OK. (By default, Show ID is unchecked.)

Hold your finger steady until the device reads the print, typically within 1–2 seconds.
The system verifies your fingerprint against the stored biometric template.
Once verified, the screen displays a confirmation.
The punch is recorded and synced with the time and attendance system.
Proximity car method
Stand in front of the time clock with your proximity card in hand.
Hold the card near the contactless reader area, usually marked with a wave icon.
The device reads the card and verifies your identity.
Once verified, the screen displays a confirmation.
The punch is recorded and sent to the time and attendance system.
Facial recognition method
Stand directly in front of the facial recognition terminal, about 18–24 inches away.
The device automatically detects the presence of a face using its camera and infrared sensors.
The system compares the live facial scan to the stored biometric template. This usually takes less than 2 seconds.
Once verified, the screen displays a confirmation.
The punch is logged in the system and synced with the time and attendance platform.
