Hours Distribution

How to Enable Hours Distribution

  1. Refer to Hours Distribution Made Easy to understand the prerequisites and requirements.
  2. Go to Global Settings > Time Tracking > Reporting Hours.
  3. Also, ensure that a job has been configured for Job Costing.


    This example is for creating a reporting hour rule for employees.
  4. Under Reporting Hours, click the button Employee.
  5. Enter a Rule Name.
  6. Select Job Costing in the Employee Reporting Method section.
    1. If applicable, to allow employees to distribute their own hours, select:
      - Manual Hours Distribution
         and
      - Manual Clock In/Out or Manual Timesheet Hours
  7. Select Enable Hours Distribution in the Job Costing section to allow managers to enable the hours distribution options within the timesheets.
  8. In the Employee section, select an employee or employees to whom you will assign the rule.
  9. Click Ok, then click Save.
