Time Tracking Alerts serve a crucial role in keeping both employees and managers informed about various timesheet activities that occur on the platform. These alerts can notify users about important events such as missed punches, which occur when an employee forgets to clock in or out, and upcoming breaks scheduled throughout the workday. By receiving these notifications, users can ensure that their timesheets are accurate and up-to-date, essential for proper payroll processing and compliance with labor regulations. To set up a new alert, please follow the detailed steps outlined below, ensuring that you configure the settings according to your specific needs and preferences.

Navigation

  1. Click Global Settings, select Time Tracking, then choose Alerts.

  2. Click the plus icon and select Add.
     

  3. Audience: Select Manager or Employee.

  4. Alerts: Choose an Alert (see the Alerts Overview below).

  5. Name: Name of the Alert.

  6. Enabled: (Yes) or disable (No) the alert.

  7. Alert Rules (Configuration): Set up time durations (if applicable).

  8. Scope: Select if the alert applies to a specific group.

  9. Who to notify: Designate the Recipient (manager, supervisor, or administrator), if applicable.

  10. Click Save to activate and assign the alert.
