Release Notes July 22, 2026

This release introduces clearer authentication terminology, improved break reporting, expanded Job List export options, and more flexible employee reporting permissions.

Time and Attendance

Employee reporting permissions are easier to manage

The Employee Reporting Method configuration has been simplified by grouping employee timesheet permissions into dedicated controls. A new Employee Self-Entry option replaces the previous manual entry settings and allows administrators to separately control whether employees can:

  • Manage clock in and out entries.

  • Manage hours entries.

  • Manage payable entries, such as expenses and tips.

A separate Timesheet Review & Approval option also allows employees to approve timesheets without granting permission to edit timesheet entries. These changes make employee reporting permissions easier to configure while providing greater flexibility over employee access.

HR Data Management

Authentication replaces Credentials

We've updated employee authentication terminology throughout the application to provide clearer and more consistent language. This update includes:

  • The Credentials tab in the employee profile has been renamed to Authentication.

  • The Employee Credentials report has been renamed to Employee authentication methods.

  • Related privileges have been renamed to use the new Authentication terminology.

  • Labels and references throughout the application have been updated for consistency.

This is a terminology update only. Existing functionality and permissions remain unchanged.

Reports

Break Detailed report separates independent unplanned breaks

The Break Detailed report now displays independent unplanned breaks on their own rows, making them easier to identify. Previously, unplanned breaks were not always displayed separately. Now:

  • Unplanned breaks that are not associated with a planned or taken break appear on their own report line.

  • Unplanned breaks associated with another break continue to appear with their related planned or taken break.

  • Existing break calculations and report totals remain unchanged.

Exports

Filter Job List exports by record status

The Job List data provider now includes additional status filtering and reporting options for Job Costing records.

You can now:

  • Filter exported records by Active Only, Archived Only, or All.

  • Include Job Status, Project Status, Client Status, and Task Status as export columns.

  • Generate cleaner exports that focus only on the records you need.
