Time and Attendance

Close pay periods early for payroll flexibility    

You can now close pay periods before the configured deadline when you need to process payroll early, which is perfect for holidays or special circumstances. A new setting in Platform Configuration gives you the flexibility to finalize timesheets at any point on the final day of the pay period, preventing further changes and ensuring payroll can be processed on your schedule.          

Import hours as durations    

The Import Punches tool now supports importing worked hours as durations in addition to traditional clock-in and clock-out punches. Choose decimal or hh:mm format, and the system will validate your data and clearly flag any formatting issues before import. This makes it easier to bring timesheet data into the system from other sources.          

Download Approaching Overtime reports    

The Approaching Overtime dashboard widget now includes a Download Report option. Generate a professional PDF that captures all the real-time overtime data you see on your dashboard, complete with employee details, worked hours, and color-coded overtime indicators.          

Streamlined timesheet approval process    

The "Approve all pending" action in Timesheet Overview now provides clear feedback at every step. You will see confirmation dialogs, progress indicators, and detailed completion messages that help you understand exactly what happened during the approval process, whether all timesheets were approved successfully or if any require additional attention.          

Web Kiosk clock-in flow improvements    

The Web Kiosk now processes all clock-in steps in the correct sequence, ensuring employees can complete photo capture, break waivers, job selection, and questionnaires without interruption. The experience now matches the native kiosk app for consistent functionality across all devices.          

Faster timesheet editing    

Editing punches that include hours distribution is now faster and more responsive. The editor loads quickly and saves changes smoothly, making timesheet management more efficient.          

Timesheet Status Summary export    

Export complete timesheet status information including submission and approval details with the new Timesheet Status Summary export. Get one row per employee per pay period with submitter and approver information, timestamps, notes, and pay period boundaries in the format that works best for you.          

Timelog Audit Trail export    

A new Timelog Audit Trail export is now available, providing detailed audit records for timesheet changes. Export comprehensive modification history in your preferred format, such as CSV, TXT, XML, or JSON, to support your audit and reconciliation processes.          

Dark Mode improvements for Android    

Questionnaire text now displays correctly in the WorkEasy Software mobile app when using Dark Mode on Android devices. All content is fully visible and renders consistently across supported devices.          

Time Off

Improved weekly schedule pattern updates    

Weekly pattern updates now process smoothly even when modifying shifts that are already in progress. Changes apply reliably across all affected employee schedules without errors.          

Scheduling

Select shift dates in daily views    

When creating or editing shifts in Daily by Employee and Daily by Criteria views, you can now explicitly set both the start date and end date. This gives you precise control over shift scheduling and prevents accidental overnight shifts, keeping your schedules aligned with the intended workdays.          

View and manage open shifts in Criteria view    

Open shifts are now visible in all Criteria Views, making it easier to see coverage needs at a glance. You can filter, sort, and assign open shifts directly based on location, role, skill, or department, without switching to the employee view.          

Filter schedules by multiple jobs    

The Job filter in Scheduling now supports selecting multiple jobs at once. View schedules across several jobs simultaneously and combine job filtering with other filters like location and department for exactly the view you need.          

Accurate daily and grand totals    

Daily by Employee and Daily by Criteria views now show accurate employee totals and grand totals. Break deductions are calculated correctly, and totals remain consistent across all scheduling displays.          

Shifts generate correctly with future group changes    

When you move an employee to a new group with a future effective date, the system now generates and updates shifts correctly. Future shifts use the new group's pattern starting on the effective date, ensuring your schedule stays accurate and complete.          

Reports

Pay rate column in Employee List report    

The Employee List report now includes a Pay Rate column showing each employee's current effective pay rate with currency and pay period frequency. Pay rate information is only visible to users with the appropriate privileges.          

Integrations

ADP Workforce Now locations sync with correct timezones    

Locations syncing from ADP Workforce Now now automatically use the correct timezone based on the U.S. state in your ADP data. This ensures locations reflect their actual regional time settings, which is especially helpful for companies operating across multiple timezones.          

Improved ADP Run employee totals    

The mapped-employee calculation in the ADP Run integration now includes all employees mapped through the integration, regardless of their status (Active, Inactive, Terminated, or Archived). This gives you a complete and accurate count of your integrated workforce.          

Enhanced ADP Run employee search    

The Search Employee by Name field on the ADP Run Sync Employees page now works smoothly as you type. The table stays visible and updates in real time, making it easier to find and manage employee records.          

Devices

Clock offline alerts    

You can now create and manage clock offline alerts directly in Devices settings. Configure alert rules, set the scope, and choose who receives notifications via mobile push, email, or web, giving you better visibility when time clocks go offline.
