Time and Attendance

Close pay periods early for payroll flexibility

You can now close pay periods before the configured deadline when you need to process payroll early, which is useful for holidays or special circumstances. A new setting in Platform Configuration lets you finalize timesheets at any point on the final day of the pay period, preventing further changes and supporting earlier payroll processing.

Import hours as durations

The Import Punches tool now supports importing worked hours as durations in addition to clock-in and clock-out punches. You can use decimal or hh:mm formats, and the system validates the data and flags formatting issues before import.

Download Approaching Overtime reports

The Approaching Overtime dashboard widget now includes a Download Report option. You can generate a PDF that captures the current overtime data shown on the dashboard, including employee details, worked hours, and overtime indicators.

Streamlined timesheet approval process

The Approve all pending action in Timesheet Overview now provides clearer feedback throughout the process, including confirmation dialogs, progress indicators, and completion messages that show what was approved and what still needs attention.

Web Kiosk clock-in flow improvements

The Web Kiosk now processes clock-in steps in the correct sequence, allowing employees to complete photo capture, break waivers, job selection, and questionnaires without interruption. The flow now aligns with the native kiosk app for more consistent behavior.

Faster timesheet editing

Editing punches that include hours distribution is now faster and more responsive. The editor loads quicker and saves changes more smoothly to reduce delays during timesheet updates.

Timesheet Status Summary export

A new Timesheet Status Summary export is available for complete timesheet submission and approval details. It provides one row per employee per pay period with submitter and approver information, timestamps, notes, and pay period boundaries.

Timelog Audit Trail export

A new Timelog Audit Trail export provides detailed audit records for timesheet changes. You can export comprehensive modification history in formats such as CSV, TXT, XML, or JSON to support audit and reconciliation workflows.

Dark Mode improvements for Android

Questionnaire text now displays correctly in the WorkEasy Software mobile app when using Dark Mode on Android devices. Content is fully visible and renders consistently across supported devices.

Time Off

Improved weekly schedule pattern updates

Weekly pattern updates now process smoothly even when modifying shifts that are already in progress. Changes apply reliably across affected employee schedules.

Scheduling

Select shift dates in daily views

When creating or editing shifts in Daily by Employee and Daily by Criteria views, you can now set both the start date and end date. This helps prevent accidental overnight shifts and keeps schedules aligned with intended workdays.

View and manage open shifts in Criteria view

Open shifts are now visible in all Criteria views, making coverage needs easier to review. You can filter, sort, and assign open shifts based on location, role, skill, or department without switching to the employee view.

Filter schedules by multiple jobs

The Job filter in Scheduling now supports selecting multiple jobs at once. You can view schedules across several jobs simultaneously and combine job filtering with other filters like location and department.

Accurate daily and grand totals

Daily by Employee and Daily by Criteria views now show accurate employee totals and grand totals. Break deductions calculate correctly and totals remain consistent across scheduling views.

Shifts generate correctly with future group changes

When you move an employee to a new group with a future effective date, the system now generates and updates shifts correctly. Future shifts use the new group pattern starting on the effective date.

Reports

Pay rate column in Employee List report

The Employee List report now includes a Pay Rate column showing each employee’s current effective pay rate with currency and pay period frequency. Pay rate information is visible only to users with the appropriate privileges.

Integrations

ADP Workforce Now locations sync with correct time zones

Locations syncing from ADP Workforce Now now automatically use the correct time zone based on the U.S. state in your ADP data. This helps ensure locations reflect the appropriate regional time settings for multi-time-zone organizations.

Improved ADP RUN employee totals

The mapped-employee calculation in the ADP RUN integration now includes all employees mapped through the integration, regardless of status (Active, Inactive, Terminated, or Archived).

Enhanced ADP RUN employee search

The Search Employee by Name field on the ADP RUN Sync Employees page now works as you type. The table stays visible and updates in real time to support faster employee management.

Devices

Clock offline alerts

You can now create and manage clock offline alerts in Devices settings. Configure alert rules, set scope, and choose recipients for mobile push, email, or web notifications to improve visibility when time clocks go offline.
