Privileges Overview

In WorkEasy Software, user privileges determine what actions users can take and what data they can see, based on their security group (e.g., Employee, Manager, Supervisor). These privileges are divided into modules like My Portal, Reports, User Access, Time and Attendance, and others.

Privileges help to:

  • Control access to features such as timesheets, schedules, reports, or employee information.

  • Allow or restrict actions like changing pay rates, managing time off, or viewing colleague information.

  • Apply role-specific permissions through Security Groups, ensuring employees can only access or perform tasks appropriate for their role.

Below are the current privileges available in WorkEasy Software, organized by module and subcategory.

My Portal


HR Data

  • Assets: Users can view the list of assets that have been assigned to them.

  • Benefits: Users can view the list of assets that have been assigned to them.

  • Credentials: Users can view and edit their own clocking PIN number.

  • Documents: Users can view shared documents and their own employee documents.

  • Notes: Users can view the notes posted on their profile.

  • Pay Rates: Users can view pay rates and amounts across the software.

  • Profile: Users can view their own employee profile and adjust the personal section if applicable.

  • Training: Users can view the list of ongoing, upcoming, and past trainings they have been assigned.

Scheduling

  • Availability: Users can view, edit, or delete their availability.

  • Co-workers: Users can view the schedule of their co-workers within the Schedules.

  • Schedules: Users can view their schedules and available open shifts if applicable.

  • Shift Preferences: Users can view, edit, or delete their shift preferences.

  • Team Staffing: Users can view the schedule of their team staffing within the Schedules.

Time Off Requests

  • Time Off Requests: Users can manage their time off requests, view their balances, and request history.

Timesheets

  • Timesheets: Users can view their own timesheets.

  • Import Time Data: Users can add or update time data.

  • Manage Timesheets: Users can manage employees' timesheets, submit timesheets for approval, or approve/deny approval requests up to the pay period approval deadline.

  • Timesheet Administrator: Users can manage employees' timesheets, submit for approval, approve/deny requests, and close/reopen pay periods at any time.

  • View Timesheets: Users can view employees' timesheets.
