WorkEasy Software is designed to be used through the application’s built-in navigation menus, buttons, and controls. Using the browser’s navigation tools, such as the Back button, may cause pages to reload incorrectly or display outdated information because the browser retrieves a cached version of a previously loaded page. This behavior is common in many web-based applications and does not indicate a system error.
Why the browser Back button may cause issues
When the browser Back button is used, the browser attempts to display an earlier version of the page stored in its local cache. Because WorkEasy Software processes data dynamically, the cached page may no longer reflect the current state of the system.
This may result in situations such as:
Recently saved data not appearing updated
Buttons or actions not responding as expected
Pages appearing out of sequence in a workflow
Temporary display inconsistencies
These behaviors occur because the browser is displaying an older version of the page rather than requesting fresh data from WorkEasy Software.
Recommended navigation method
To ensure the system displays the most accurate and current information, navigate within WorkEasy Software using the application’s interface.
Use the menu on the left side of the application.
Select links or buttons within the application interface.
Use action buttons such as Save, Cancel, or Close to move between screens.
Avoid using the browser Back button while working inside the application.
Refreshing a page
If a page appears outdated or does not display the expected information, refresh the page to reload the latest data from the system.
You can refresh the page by:
Clicking the browser Refresh button.
Pressing F5 on your keyboard.
Refreshing the page forces the system to retrieve the most current information from WorkEasy Software.
Troubleshooting unexpected page behavior
If a page appears incorrect after using the browser Back button or after performing multiple actions quickly, follow these steps:
Refresh the page.
Navigate back to the page using the application menu.
Repeat the action using the system’s navigation buttons.
If the issue persists after refreshing and navigating through the application menus, contact your system administrator or submit a support request.
