Global Settings Overview

Global Settings is where administrators and managers add and manage configuration rules within the WorkEasy Software web app. A WorkEasy account manager assigns the administrator or manager a Security Group with the privileges necessary to access the Global Settings options. The Global Settings (with a gear icon) button is located at the bottom of the Left Nav.
  

Categories

Global Settings is organized into different categories such as:

  • Advanced Settings
  • General Settings, that is, basic company settings such as Time and Language, Name Format, and Work Hours Definition
  • Settings for individual features such as Geofence, Job Costing, and Integrations
  • Settings for each product area, that is, Time and Attendance, Scheduling, Time Off, and HR Data Management
 

Layouts

For many of the Global Settings, the layout can be either Company, Group, Employee or ellipsis layout. 

Company, Group, or Employee Layout 

Here, you can select a Company, Group, or Employee and tell the software the configuration rules that should be assigned to employees. Example:

Ellipsis Layout

The ellipsis offers different functions, which vary based on the selected setting. This global setting, for example, is Groups.

Filter

You can use the Advanced Filter to see, for example, Archive Status of Not archived or Archived
