The Folks HR integration with WorkEasy Software makes it super easy to handle employee info. You can just import employee details from Folks HR into WorkEasy without any hassle. This article will walk you through how the integration works, how to set it up, and what configuration options you have. It transfers employee info from Folks HR to WorkEasy Software. Plus, it automatically syncs updates every 12 hours, so your employee records are always up to date. You can even connect multiple Folks HR accounts and manage their sync settings separately.

  1. Contact Folks HR support to request your Client ID and Client Secret. These credentials are required to establish the connection.

  2. In WorkEasy Software, navigate to the Integrations section and click Start.
     

  3. Enter a name for the integration.

  4. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret provided by Folks HR. Click Connect.
     

  5. Once connected, go to the Connected Accounts section. Click Edit.
     

  6. Select the default Pay Period Frequency for employees.
     

  7. Map the following fields as needed:

    • Departments from Folks HR to Department in WorkEasy

    • Positions from Folks HR to Position in WorkEasy

    • Working Sites > Location is mapped by default
       

  8. In the Employee Sync section, decide whether to:

    • Sync all employees, only active ones, or employees in specific groups

    • Override existing WorkEasy data with Folks HR data (e.g., employee ID, groups, locations), or just link records without overwriting

  9. Click Save after setting your preferences.
     

  10. Click Synchronize to begin importing employee records.
     





  11. If synchronization fails or you encounter errors (e.g., "The resource was not found"), try refreshing the page or disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.
     

  12. To update credentials or disconnect the integration, use the buttons Update or Disconnect.
