Adding Time Off Types

  1. Navigate to Global Settings > Time Off > Time Off Types.
     

  2. Click Add.
     

  3. Enter the details for the new time-off type and click Save.

  • Balance is tracked: Employee has a set number of hours (e.g., vacation, sick) that are deducted with each use.

  • Balance is not tracked: Employee has no set number of hours (e.g., jury duty, appointments).

  • Unwarded Hours: Employee is eligible for hours but hasn't officially received or used them yet.

  • Comp Time Off: Overtime hours can be converted into paid time off as Compensatory Time.



  • Once the newly created time-off type is listed, you can add a new one and edit or archive an existing one.
