# Configure Reporting Hours for Kiosk Clocking

Use **Reporting Hours** to control how employees clock in and out using the **Kiosk App**. Kiosk clocking settings can include photo capture, QR code access, geolocation tracking, and geofence enforcement.

> Photos, location data, and employee notice
> 
> Require photo captures a photo each time an employee clocks in or out at the kiosk, and Enable Geolocation captures location data. Depending on applicable law, your organization may need to inform employees that photos and location data are collected. Your organization is responsible for meeting these requirements.

## Before you begin

If you plan to use geofence enforcement, create the required geofences before configuring the Reporting Hours rule. [Learn more](https://help.workeasysoftware.com/docs/configure-geofence-enforcement-in-reporting-hours).

## Configure Kiosk Clock In/Out

1. Go to **Global Settings > Time Tracking > Reporting Hours**.
2. Click **Create Rule**.
3. 4. Enter a **Name**.
5. Select the **Starting on** date, or leave it as **Immediate**.
6. ## Kiosk Clock In/Out settings

> **Important:** Geolocation tracking and geofence enforcement only apply to the iOS and Android Kiosk App. Depending on your clocking policy and configuration, employees using the Web Kiosk may not be able to clock in or out. 1. **Require photo**: Requires employees to take a photo when clocking in or out from the Kiosk App.
2. **Enable QR Code**: Allows employees to use QR codes for kiosk clocking.
3. **Enable Geolocation**: Captures location during kiosk clocking when supported by the Kiosk App.
4. **How should location be tracked** ?
  - **Location required at clock in/out**: Employees must share their location to clock in or out.
  - **Location optional at clock in/out**: Location is captured when available.

6. Review all settings and click **Save** to apply the rule.
