How to Create a Time Off Request for an Employee

A manager can request time off for an employee through the employee's Timesheet (Time and Attendance product) or Time Off Requests option on the left nav (Time Off product). This article explains both options.

Timesheet option (Time and Attendance product)

  1. Click Time and Attendance > (any applicable) Timesheet.
  2. Select a Pay Period.
  3. Click Add Time Off.
  4. Make the applicable selections and click Ok.
  5. The time off request will appear on the employee's timesheet.

Time Off Requests option (Time Off product)

  1. Click Time Off > Time Off Requests.
  2. Click Request Time Off.
  3. Select an employee from the list, or search employee by ID or name, and click Continue.

  4. Make your selections, enter a comment (optional), and click Submit Request.
