How to Change Time Zones
To successfully change a time zone, first detach employees, clocks, departments, and positions from that location that has the time zone which you want to change.
- When you create a location (Groups > Locations), you select a Time Zone, which then becomes attached to that location.
- When adding employees, clocks, departments, or positions to WorkEasy, you need to select a location, and the Time Zone for that location becomes then attached to employees, clocks, departments, or positions.
- To change a location’s time zone, you must first select another location for employees, clocks, departments, and positions to detach them from that location that has the time zone that you want to change. Failing to detach employees, clocks, departments, and positions from the location whose time zone you want to change prevents you from making this change.
