How to Access Frozen Punches

Punches that have been blocked from the Employee Timesheets due to certain restrictions are called Frozen Punches.

  1. On the Dashboard, click Exceptions or the Frozen Punches widget.
  2. Click the checkbox next to the name of the employee who has Frozen Punches and click Recover.
    (For this example, we wanted to see Today's frozen punches. The other viewing options are Pay Period and Custom Dates.)
  3. Click Yes, Recover.
  4. Another option to see Frozen Punches is to go to the employee's Timesheet.
  5. Click the employee's name.
  6. Click the snowflake icon.                                             
  7. Select the checkbox for all frozen punches and click Recover.
  8. Click Yes, Recover.
  9. A Punches Recovered message displays. Click Ok.
  10. Notice that the employee now has punches pending approval.
