Use My Portal to submit a time-off request for manager review. Available time-off types, duration options, and balance rules are based on your company’s time-off policy configuration.
Prerequisites
You can access My Portal.
At least one time-off policy is assigned to you.
Your available balance meets policy rules for the request.
Instructions
In the left navigation, select My Portal.
Select Time Off.
Confirm you are on My Time Off.
Review your time-off balance cards at the top of the page.

Select Request Time Off.

In New Time Off Request, open the Time-Off list.
Select the applicable time-off type.

Open the Duration list.
Select one option:
Full day
Half day
Hours

Set the date range using From and To.
If Hours or Half day is selected, enter the number of hours for the applicable day(s).
Confirm the Total hours displayed in the request.
Review the Available Balance panel (for example, actual balance and future approved hours) before submitting.
Review the Coworkers (accepted and pending) list if it is displayed.
Enter Employee Comments if needed.
Select Submit Request.

Track request status
Requests: Displays pending requests.
Upcoming Time Off: Displays approved upcoming time off.
Time Off History: Displays submitted requests, including approved and denied results.
Balance: Displays time-off balance details.
What happens next
After submission, the request shows as Pending until it is reviewed.
If the request is approved, it is marked approved in your request lists.
If the request is denied, you receive an email notification.
Managers review and act on requests in the Time Off area.
Review requests, history, and balances
Use the tabs on My Time Off to review submitted requests and balance activity. Values and status are based on your company’s time-off policy configuration.
Requests tab
Use Requests to view requests that are still in progress.
Status shows where the request is in the workflow (for example, Pending).
Submitted By shows when the request was submitted.
Requests leave this tab after they are approved, denied, or canceled.

Time off history tab
Use Time Off History to review previously submitted requests.
Filter by time-off type, status, and year.
Review request details including date range, hours, and the reviewer.
Statuses in this view reflect completed outcomes (for example, Approved or Cancelled).

Balance tab
Use Balance to view a running ledger of time-off activity for a selected policy and year.
Details identifies the entry type (for example, Time Off or Accrued).
Hours shows the hours applied in that entry. Time used may display as a negative value.
Balance shows the resulting balance after each entry.

Notifications
When a time-off request is submitted or updated, a notification may appear in the notification icon at the top of the page.
Select a notification to open the request item.
Select Details to review request information, including the timestamp and current status.
