Use this article to compare the options, see what each one sends, and find the setup steps for your provider. ## Choose an integration or an export - **Integration:** Connects WorkEasy directly to your payroll or HR provider. Depending on the provider, it syncs employee records with WorkEasy and sends worked time to payroll, so you don't have to enter or upload data manually. Set up integrations in **Global Settings → Integrations**. - **Export:** Creates a file from WorkEasy data that you load into your payroll system. Use an export when your provider doesn't have an integration, or when you need a file instead of a direct connection. Run exports in **Platform → Exports**. Some providers offer both an integration and an export, including ADP Workforce Now, BambooHR, QuickBooks Online and QuickPay. The integration sends data directly to the provider. Each export creates a file from WorkEasy data based on the parameters you set, such as the pay period. You then load the file into your payroll system.
