This method shows how resources are used for particular jobs and projects. In **WorkEasy Software**, the Job Costing feature lets organizations assign jobs to employees, set different rates, and connect jobs to projects and clients. Job Costing can be used to set up jobs, projects, tasks, and clients according to company needs. ## Setup workflow 1. Configure the Job Costing Structure in **Global Settings > Job Costing > Job Costing Structure**. 2. Add jobs in **Global Settings > Job Costing > Jobs**. 3. Add clients, if applicable, in **Global Settings > Job Costing > Clients**. 4. Add projects in **Global Settings > Job Costing > Projects**. 5. Add tasks, if applicable, within the applicable project configuration. 6. Enable the Job Costing Reporting Hours feature in **Global Settings > Time Tracking > Reporting Hours**. 7. Run Job Costing reports in **Reports**. > When Job Costing is configured to require a Job, users must select the final required Job level before being able to add a manual time or duration entry. ## Related articles - [Configure Job Costing Structure](/main/docs/set-up-your-job-costing-structure) - [Create and Configure Jobs](/main/docs/add-a-job-in-job-costing) - [Add, Edit, and Archive Clients](/main/docs/add-a-client-to-job-costing) - [Set up a Project](/main/docs/set-up-a-project-in-job-costing) - [Create and Automate a Job Costing Report](/main/docs/create-and-run-a-job-costing-report)
