# Factory Reset Your WorkEasy Time Clock Device

Factory resetting your time clock device erases all local configurations and employee data, returning it to its original out-of-box state. **This action permanently erases all configurations and employee data on the device and cannot be undone.** Confirm the data is no longer needed, or has already been backed up or synced elsewhere, before continuing.

1. 3. 4. A confirmation message appears: *"All configurations and employee data will be erased. 5. The device begins the reset process and displays **Complete Testing** at the top of the screen. 6. Once the reset finishes, the device restarts and displays the WorkEasy Software welcome screen.
