# Enable and View Geo Punches

**Geo Punches** are clock-in and clock-out records submitted through the mobile app with location data. To function properly, this feature must be enabled in the **Reporting Hours** settings.

### Enabling Geo Punches

To record Geo Punches, ensure the **Geo Punches** option is enabled in **Global Settings > Time Tracking > Reporting Hours > Mobile Clock In/Out > Enable Geolocation**. Contact your administrator if you do not have access to modify these settings.

> Location data and employee notice
> 
> When Geo Punches are enabled, the mobile app records the employee's location with each clock-in and clock-out. Depending on applicable law, your organization may need to inform employees that location data is collected. Your organization is responsible for meeting these requirements.

### Viewing Geo Punches in the Web App

1. From the left nav, select **Time and Attendance** > **Timesheets**.
2. Click an employee's name to open their timesheet.
3. Locate punches marked with the **mobile device icon**—these are Geo Punches submitted via the mobile app.

5. A map will display showing a **location pin** for each recorded Geo Punch.
