# Configure time and language settings

Use the **Time & Language** settings to define default system preferences for language, time format, currency, time zones, and the start of the work week.

When creating a configuration, you can set the following values:

- **Language**: Select the display language for the platform.
- **Time format**: Choose between Standard and Non-standard.
- **Currency symbol**: Define the symbol to display for currency values.
- **Start week on**: Select the day the work week begins.
- **Supports multiple time zones**: Enable or disable multiple time zone support.
- **Default time zone**: Assign the default time zone for the system.
- **Date range**: Enter the start date and time. The end date can be set to a specific date or left as infinite.

## Important

- Once a Time & Language configuration is created, it **cannot be edited or deleted**.
- To make a change, you must **add a new configuration** with the updated values.
