# Clocking Methods

Employees can clock in and out using one of several authentication methods, depending on how the time clock is configured. Each method is designed to securely record punches while ensuring a quick and user-friendly experience. The supported clocking methods are described below. Follow the instructions for the method your employer has enabled.

## PIN Method

1. Tap the keypad icon in the bottom-right corner of the home screen.

2. Enter your assigned Employee ID and tap **OK**. **Show ID** is unchecked by default.

3. Enter your assigned PIN and tap **OK**.

4. Select an available clocking action.

5. Check the screen for confirmation of your punch.

## Fingerprint Scanning Method

1. Place your registered finger on the fingerprint scanner.
2. Hold your finger steady while the device reads your fingerprint.
3. Check the screen for confirmation of your punch.

## Proximity Card Method

1. Hold your proximity card near the contactless reader on the time clock.
2. Wait for the device to read the card.
3. Check the screen for confirmation of your punch.

## Facial Recognition Method

1. Look directly at the camera on the time clock.
2. Keep your face visible and remain still while the device takes a picture and verifies your identity.
3. ## Palm Recognition Method (Xenio P3000 only)

1. Place your registered palm in front of the camera on the time clock.
2. Keep your palm visible and remain still while the device takes a picture and verifies your identity.
3.
